We received this a few days ago from our agency:

Dear members of Group 252-253,

Attached is your Referral Booklet. This booklet is designed to provide you with the information you will require when your child proposal from China arrives. Read through it and if you have questions feel free to call the office or your Regional Coordinator for clarification.

Also attached is theAdoption Travel Guide, which is intended to help prepare you for your trip to China. We also recommend that you attend an AdopTalk seminar if you have not done so already.
If you have not done so already now is the time to make sure you have completed Immigration Canada’s “Sponsoring parents, grandparents, adopted children and other relatives” document.

Ensure your vaccinations are up-to-date. Consult your doctor or an international travel clinic for information on vaccinations.

When you return to Canada you will need to apply for citizenship for your new child. You can download forms at http://www.cic.gc.ca/ Refer to the travel guide for details on how to proceed when you return home.

Two post placement reports are required to complete the China adoption process. A reminder will be sent via e-mail at approximately 5 and 11 months following your return home with your child. We suggest making these appointments with your social worker at the time of referral.

How exciting is this,we realize this does not mean we are travelling tomorrow,however it is still pretty darn exciting.......wooooohoooooooooo!!!!!....So at least now as we sit and wait for our stork to arrive,we will have plenty of reading material...............LOL!!!!!!!
