Great Wall Update and other stuff too...

Dianne is having some problems getting the blog to update today so I am filling in. I found they had a couple of pictures waiting to be posted so I posted those for them. Here is a what Dianne told me:

Yesterday they managed to get the Great Wall tour rescheduled so they had a very nice relaxing day. There was some paper work to do but they also had some time to get out and wander around. They went to the IGA and to dinner with three other families. The restaurant was very nice and supper was delicious! Today they climbed the Great Wall. Dianne's first comment to me was "WOW!" They had a blast. She said it was fantastic and all three climbed to the top. She said that Meaghan smiled the whole way to the top and back down so I guess she thought it was pretty cool too!! After the Wall they headed off to the Jade Gallery where they bought some nice pieces for Mommy and Princess (see, spoiled already! LOL!) They had a beautiful lunch there and when they returned to the hotel they had another evening hall party. (My comment: It sure sounds like she has an awesome group? Doesn't it? They are so fortunate to have one another and share these moments. It sounds like they will be good friends for many, many years to come!)

They are off to medicals in the a.m. They have to be in the lobby by 7:30 a.m. (I think that's cruel!! That's me again interjecting my opinions! LOL!) She can't wait to see what the little peanut weighs as she is sooooooo tiny. 9 months fit best, size two shoes and size two diapers. Dianne says that she is crawling at this point!

Also, Meaghan is a great traveller!! She stuck her thumb in her mouth during take off from Nanning and she slept for three hours of the 3½ hour flight on an empty seat between them. When she woke up, she was her usual smiling self. (I can't wait to see that smile in person!!)
